Terms and Conditions

Thank you for choosing to book with us at Mevagissey Bay Hotel. Please note that by making this booking you are entering a legal agreement with us. Reservations are made and accepted on the following terms:


We reserve the right to increase or decrease the prices of accommodation at any time. The price of your stay will be confirmed by us at the time of booking.

Prices include breakfast and VAT for a maximum of 2 guests per room.

We will charge the first night’s stay to your credit or debit card two weeks prior to your arrival. We are sorry but we do not accept cheques.

Cancellations, Curtailments and No-Shows

Changes and cancellations to bookings made up to 14 days before the arrival date/time are without charge. Any changes or cancellations made within 14 – 1 day of your arrival date/time will result in the first night’s deposit fee being forfeited. Cancellations with less than 24-hours’ notice or no shows, then the total price of the reservation will be charged. The same policy applies to guests who leave earlier than planned.

Group Bookings

When booking two or more different rooms a deposit for the first night of stay will be charged for each room.

For group bookings of two or more rooms we reserve the right to charge a cancellation fee equivalent to 50% of the total bed and breakfast rate for the complete booking if cancelled less than two weeks prior to the day of arrival.


We strongly suggest guests take out travel insurance for short breaks and holidays in the UK to cover themselves against cancellation charges and to protect themselves against possible loss due to any unforeseen circumstances such as illness, adverse weather conditions, traffic delays, etc. It is your responsibility to check that the insurance you purchase is adequate for your needs.

Non-availability of Accommodation

We would only cancel your holiday if your accommodation was unavailable for reasons beyond our control. We would however attempt to offer you alternative accommodation. If this was not possible, or unacceptable to you, then we would refund all monies paid by you. Our liability would not extend beyond this refund.


On check-in guests will be asked to register and a note made of their car registration number.

By making a booking, customers agree to our cancellation/amendment policy.


Sorry but we do not accept pets other than service/assistant dogs.
