Autumn 2017

  • 8-10 September – Truro Little Orchard Cider Music festival at Healy’s Cider Farm
  • 8-10 September – St Austell Festival of food with lots of food demonstrations
  • 5-16 September – Fowey Music Festival
  • 22-24 September – Truro Great Cornish Food Festival,
  • 29 September-1st October – Looe Music festival, various styles of live music on different stages
  • 6-8 October – Truro Oktoberfest, celebrating everything German,
  • 21-28 October – St Austell Halloween, Halloween in St Austell with various activities

Winter 2017

  • 9-11 December – Fowey Christmas Market
  • Month of February – Truro Hall for Cornwall, various theatre productions

Spring 2018

  • 19 February – 17 June: Caerhays Gardens open to the public.
  • 19 – 20 February: Film screening with Bruce Parry at The Eden Project.
  • 14 – 17 February: Valentines Dinner at The Eden Project.
  • 3 – 5: March St Pirans Day celebrations around the county.
  • 9 March: Heligan Feast Night. Feast Nights are back on the menu in Heligan Kitchen, as the recently refurbished restaurant announces five special nights to highlight the unique flavours produced in the iconic gardens and estate.
  • 17 – 25 March: Falmouth Spring Festival. A festival to celebrate Falmouth’s beautiful open and green spaces. With guided walks and talks, garden spring clean events, Gardeners’ Question Time and a Spring Fair.
  • 19 March – 15 June: Caerhays Castle open to public.
  • 30 March – 1 April: Oyster Gathering and Seafood Harvest, Mylor. A small local oyster festival.  Join the local oyster men on their last weekend of the season and sample fresh seafood cooked by local and internationally recognised chefs.
  • 31 March – 1 April: Cornwall Spring Flower Show, Lostwithiel. A fragrant centennial celebration of Cornish garden mania. Exuberant displays with camellias, daffodils, rhododendrons guaranteeing a colourful spectacle at the Boconnoc Estate.
  • 31 March – 8 April: St Endellion Easter Music Festival, Port Isaac – This festival has made a speciality of English language performances of the Bach Passions whose intensity in the church’s intimate setting is a musical experience not to be missed.
  • 31 March – 1 April: International Mining Games, Camborne – The primary aim of this competition is to keep the “old-fashioned” mining techniques alive, many of which were developed in Cornwall. The competition also provides a talent scouting opportunity.
  • 6 – 9 April: Trereife Easter Food and Craft Fair, Penzance – Inspiring tours of Trereife House, local chef’s demonstrations, a delectable selection of locally produced food and drink, exquisite art, and crafts to browse and buy, children’s Easter Egg Hunt and live music performances.
  • 7 – 8 April: Barefoot Sound Wave, Helston-A micro-festival of acoustic and jazz music, surf, nature, and great food that celebrates the launch of the Barefoot surf school and Barefoot record label launch. Michael Eavis will open the event, with the ocean as the backdrop.
  • 20 – 22 April: Porthleven Food and Music Festival.
  • 21 – 22 April: Tregothnan Gardens open for charity weekend.
  • 21 – 22 April: British Kitesurfing Association – Wavejam, Newquay – An event that is all about speed, the country’s best kite surfers will kick off the British Kitesurfing Association (BKSA) season, racing across a course that runs the width of the bay over the weekend.
  • 5 – 7 May: Scuba Fest Pentewan.
  • 11 – 19 May: Fowey Festival of Art and Literature
  • 25 May – 3 June: This fantastic 10 day celebration offers something for everyone, with over 100 events showcasing creative talent from the worlds of art, music, food, theatre, film, adventure & more.
  • 26 May – 3 June:  Invisible Worlds – the Eden Project’s major new exhibition – opens to the public! Join us this half-term, 26 May – 3 June, to celebrate the launch with a packed line-up of special guests, hands-on fun and exciting events for all the family.

Summer 2018

  • 6 June – 7 July: Eden Sessions 2018
  • 7 – 9 June: Royal Cornwall Show, Wadebridge
  • 14 – 15 June:  To celebrate Sir Robin Knox-Johnston’s historic 1968/9 world first solo non-stop circumnavigation in the Sunday Times Golden Globe Yacht Race, a new Golden Globe Race will be staged to mark the 50th Anniversary, starting from Falmouth on June 14th, 2018.
  • 16 – 24 June: Polperro Festival
  • 22 – 24 June: Falmouth International Sea Shanty Festival
  • 24 – 30 June: Mevagissey Feast Week. Community festival packed full of entertainment. Crab catching on the harbour, fishing boat races, dance along the street in the traditional flora dance, swing your partner at the ceilidh or simply watch and enjoy. 
  • 3 – 22 July: 100UnEarth. War is over. It has changed the lives of everyone it has touched. The men are coming home, but death is never far away. . . . Theatre company ‘WildWorks’ will weave their way through The Lost Gardens of Heligan, Don’t miss it!
  • 6 – 7 July: Rock Oyster Festival
  • 13 – 15 July: Tropical Pressure Festival – Celebrating the rich cultures of Africa, Latin America and the Caribbean on the cliffs of Cornwall.
  • 21 – 27 July: Charlestown Regatta week
  • 27 – 29 July: Boconnock Steam Fair
  • 8 – 12 August: Boardmasters Surf and Music Festival
